Tŷ Newydd Organics is a 22 acre organic smallholding specialising in organic egg, chicken and lamb production. It is set in a peaceful rural location above the village of Penmachno near Betws-y-Coed in the Snowdonia National Park. There is a self catering farmhouse on the smallholding, and a holiday cottage nearby.
Organic Meat and Eggs
This organic smallholding specialises in organic egg and lamb production. Organic pork, chicken, turkey and goose are also available. Our hens and ducks live five minutes walk from the house. Badger Faced Welsh Mountain sheep, llamas, pigs and geese graze in the fields adjacent to the farmhouse.
Organic eggs are always available, meat and poultry in season.
Self Catering Farmhouse
Tŷ Newydd Uchaf is a traditional farmhouse dating from the early 18th century. Recently renovated using lime, it has an Aga cooker, under floor heating, a working Victorian kitchen range and a wood burning stove. It offers quality self catering accommodation on the organic smallholding in this stunning part of North Wales.

There is also a small self catering holiday cottage available nearby on the edge of the local village of Penmachno with views across the Machno Valley.

The smallholding and holiday cottage are situated above the village of Penmachno, about 5 miles from Betws-y-Coed in the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales. Please give us a call first if you are visiting us to buy organic produce to make sure that we are in.
Tŷ Newydd is an ideal location for enjoying the peace of the countryside, cycling, walking, horse riding and exploring North Wales and Snowdonia. There are local castles to explore including Conwy, Dolwyddelan and Caernarfon Castles, and the steam railways of the Ffestiniog Railway, Snowdon Mountain Railway, and the Welsh Highland Railway.
The self catering cottage is perfectly placed for both the lakes and mountains of the Snowdonia National Park, and the coastline of North Wales, including the famous Victorian resort of Llandudno.
Ty Newydd is easily accessible via the A55 coast road and A470, or via the A5, although the last mile is along a narrow country lane where you are more likely to meet a sheep than another car!
