Set off road and located in the centre of the smallholding, Ty Newydd is in a peaceful and isolated rural location 1 mile above the village of Penmachno (with pub and bike track) near Betws-y-Coed in the Snowdonia National Park. This is an ideal holiday location from which to just relax on an organic smallholding where you can help feed the lambs, llamas, chickens and ducks, or explore all that Snowdonia and North Wales have to offer.

Recently renovated using lime, this traditional farmhouse retains many original features and is a charming holiday cottage. From left to right of the picture above, the first two sections are the farmhouse, and the remaining sections are agricultural barns used by the owners who live half a mile away. The cottage has underfloor heating throughout.

Downstairs there is a large farmhouse kitchen with dining table, and a lounge. The kitchen has an Aga cooker, a working Victorian kitchen range and traditional slate flooring. In the lounge there is a cosy wood burning stove.

Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The main bedroom has a double bed and there is also a fold-out single bed that can be used. The second bedroom has twin beds. The bathroom has a traditional freestanding bath with mixer taps with shower attachment. All rooms enjoy views of the surrounding countryside.

Set on our organic smallholding this is an ideal holiday cottage for a relaxing holiday in North Wales. There are many horse trails in the area, and guests are able to keep their horse in the fields of the smallholding during their stay.
